I am Sculptor and Painter. This website explores the development and research of artwork produced in the U.S. and Europe.

My paintings explore desire as a driving and transformative force. I draw upon my own experiences, as well images of popular mainstream culture. This in turn allows me to engage in the debate between cultural decadence and spiritual ascendency. A classically trained artist, I employ traditional drawing and painting methods to more fully reveal and appreciate the many facets of humanity and to comment upon the paradox between traditional values and contemporary culture.  

While my paintings explore society and identity, my sculpture allows me to take a step back from the rigors of metropolitan life and strike a discernable balance between nature, civilization and myself. Organic sculpture in particular is grounding and revitalizing in this very way. It provides me with a sense of tangible harmony and allows me to articulate forms in time and space while paying homage to nature.

A socially engaged artist, I am deeply motivated to share what I know and exchange with others in a vision of personal progress and self-realization.
