Tyson and Britnney
This painting on paper was done in collaboration with fellow artist and friend Niko Kapetanovitch. I painted the Tyson figure while Niko painted Brittney with her signature "talk to the hand" wave. One figure represents something of a caged animal while the other represents glamor and superficiality. This study approaches the certain questions about media entertainment as pornography and marks a step towards my use of pornographic media as social commentary in figurative painting.
